Cinderella всегда будет идти отдельной строкой в истории глэм-рока 80-х. Это возможно один из единичных случаев когда группа дебютировала в модном уже не один и не два года жанре с принципиально новым, но в то же время стандартным и хорошо знакомым слушателю подходом. Творчество "Золушки" как бы более интелегентное... Песни на альбомах "Золушки", как и в подавляющем большинстве случаев представляют из себя утяжеленный Рок 'н' Ролл, но в них нет ни глянца, ни агрессии... Все быстрые номера группа исполняет очень, очень и очень позитивно! Так могут только Cinderella! Думаю своеобразный феномен "Золушки" кроется в первую очередь в таланте вокалиста, гитариста и автора большинства песен Тома Кифера. Его голос просто не имеет аналогов в мире рок-музыки! Вообще! Сравним с Кифером разве что "Дизи" Дин Дэвидсон из группы Britny Fox. Но опять таки у истоков Britny Fox стоят как раз таки бывшие участники Cinderella... Вот так все логично! Том Кифер пишет песни, сам их играет и поет. Его гитарные партии должны сочетаться с его голосом плюс отличные мелодии. Думаю успех "Золушки" как раз в этом. В эту пятидисковую коробку вошли первые четыре альбома Cinderella с бонустреками в период работы на Mercury Records, а на десертприготовлен пятый диск с концертными композициями. Мастерингом альбомов занимались не новые в этом деле люди - Andy Pearce и Matt Wortham, которые уже засветились в свое время работой над альбомами ELP, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy и других. [DR8-9]
